Apparently, today is International Women’s Day! :) And to celebrate International Women’s Day, I’m letting the husband do all the house work today, haha! The day hasn’t ended yet so he can still prepare dinner, feed the dog and wash dishes later, yahoo.
I am a woman! Hear me RAWR!
But seriously though, how timely that Artie decided to cook lunch for us today. He prepared a yummy meal of angus beef tapa, sinangag rice and eggs!
Yes, that’s a PS3 controller on the table :P
Yummy angus beef tapa with sinangag rice.
I wanted to burst out laughing when I saw this. Actually, I think I did laugh, haha ;)
And my sunny side up egg. I told Artie I wanted my eggs to be perfect.
Ahh, how nice it is to just roll out of bed and food is prepared. I could REALLY get used to this ;) Yay again for International Women’s Day, haha!
Edit: 11:57PM. Woohoo. Artie really did cook dinner for tonight! :) And he washed the dishes, too. International Women’s Day is like my birthday and Valentine’s Day all rolled into one, haha.
We had fried chicken for dinner, with chicken soup and gravy. And Ana’s cupcakes for dessert.
And the chicken. Artie got the pre marinated chicken package complete with gravy and bread crumbs.
Oh, and here’s a little comic I got from Girl In The Box (oh you just have to like this girl! She lives in a billboard along EDSA. Intrigued?). Super appropriate for International Women’s Day.
Enjoy the day, ladies! It’s a day to celebrate woman-ness, and that we’re equally as good as the men (or even greater, I believe)! :) Girl power!

Yay. Now I want a husband who can clean up and cook on this day, too. Hahahaha!
Everyday should be women’s day :)
Carine, I agree ;)
