If you were to ask me what’s the best accessory to spice up a simple outfit, I would probably say a scarf or a shawl.
I love scarves, because aside from giving my outfits a little ‘oomph’, (especially on a lazy day, when all I’m wearing are tees and jeans) it keeps me warm. (And I do get cold easily!)

It might be a little weird to wear scarves in the middle of the summer. But since scarves are so lightweight and portable, I can just stuff them inside my bag or tie them around the bag handles when not in use.
Definitely beats wearing a bulky jacket or a sweater which will surely look more awkward during the hot weather.
I saw this really cute scarf from SM Department store at SM Southmall the other week. I normally wouldn’t look at scarves since my Mom has a gazillion pashminas in all colors and designs imaginable. But what I really liked about this particular scarf is that it’s a scarf and necklace in one!
Wore it yesterday to a dinner with one of our ‘Ninong’ at our wedding :)
The cloth material of the scarf was not so great, though. It was made of really cheap material, compared to my Mom’s pashminas. But you really can’t expect much from a P275 ($6) item, anyway.
The charms, however, are removable so I can actually use them on other scarves!
But for P275 ($6), I definitely think this is a steal! Nachos thinks so, too!

The other scarves in SM have charms on each end. They were pretty cute, too! :)
I love scarves, too! Especially in animal print. But I choose the satiny ones that are much shorter than the ones you use. They’re so versatile no? They can easily add style points to an outfit. :D
