I’ve been craving for a cold cup of Serenitea for the past two weeks. But every time we think of passing by the Serenitea branch along Aguirre Ave. in BF Paranaque (after visiting our parents), it’s already past 10 and the Serenitea would be closed by then.
I was *really* determined to get my Serenitea fix tonight, so I thought of passing by before going to my in-laws place in BF Paranaque. At least I’ll be having yummy tea to accompany my dinner. I’m so smart! Haha.
So after hearing mass in St. James (thank God there was no anti-RH campaigning going on this time), we passed by Serenitea!
I was surprised to see the place packed. I used to pass by there every afternoon after my Occupational Therapy sessions in Asian Hospital before and it was normally deserted.
I guess on a weekend, a lot of people go there. I even saw Jayvee of A Bugged Life :) *wave*
I was feeling a bit adventurous tonight so I ordered a small Black Dragon with 100% sweetness, instead of my usual Royal Milk Tea with 50% sweetness. Artie ordered a Nutty Choco Milk Tea.
*satisfied smile* Nothing beats a good cup of Serenitea. I actually liked the Black Dragon. It’s assam milk tea with a mix of oolong tea. It was milky and slightly bitter sweet at the same time. Pretty good!
I’ve also tried the Yakult Green Tea, Assam Tea, Hokkaido and Wintermelon. I liked them all! (Not a foodie, but I’m definitely a drinkie! ;) ) But so far my favorite would be the Wintermelon. It was my first ever cup of Serenitea and it left a good taste in my mouth ;) Really strong assam tea aftertaste which I really like :)
For those who like milk teas and you haven’t tried Serenitea, you should really try their teas. Here’s their menu to give you an idea of what kind of teas they serve.
Ah, so many tea flavors, so little time! I wish the Aguirre branch delivers, pooh!
