I’ve been a very kikay geek lately! :) I’ve been buying a lot few kikay stuff via Multiply. With most vendors accepting credit cards and Paypal, online shopping is such a pleasant experience now with Multiply.
My most recent (like it arrived just an hour ago) purchase is this: The Brush Guard.
I bought 3 packs of the Variety Pack.
The Variety Pack contains 6 Brush Guards in different sizes: Large, Medium, Small, Extra Small
The packaging with some information.
If you love makeup and you own your own set of makeup brushes, this is one kikay tool you MUST own.
It’s an absolute help when it comes to drying your brushes. I used to dry my brushes this way:
Now with the Brush Guard, this is how my brushes look when they are drying.
Aaaah, so organized to look at. An obsessive-compulsive’s dream.
The Brush Guard covers are also great to use when storing your brushes (at home and when traveling) because it helps keep the bristles in shape, rather than being squished in your makeup kit.
And to end this post, here’s a little video from Michelle Phan on how to clean your makeup brushes. I use this technique, too and it’s an effective and inexpensive way. And this is where I discovered the Brush Guard, too!
I bought my Brush Guard from this Multiply seller: Kiss n Make-up. (She’s really nice! She refunded me immediately when I overpaid via Paypal. Thanks, Jack!)

Which online store did you buy this? :DDDD
As much as I want to buy those from their website, the custom tax is the only thing that stops me! D:
Oh and Michelle Phan’s tutorial for cleaning brushes is so helpful. :D That’s the reason why I want to own those in the first place. :D
Hi Miss A! :)
I got it from this seller: http://kissnmakeup.multiply.com/ :)
Suesh sells its own version. I have both sets and Suesh’s is much better, since it’s cheaper, has more stretch and softer so it protects the shape of the brushes by encapsulating it more. Although I still use Suesh when standing the brushes upside down while air drying.
Hi, S! Thanks for the reco. Will check out Suesh’s version :)
I’ve always wanted those brush guards! Do Multiply sellers accept Paypal payments. I love to shop online, but I prefer paying through Paypal. I used to buy a lot of makeup in eBay, and I kinda miss it. Today, I think I just bought a fake Mac mascara from a mall stall. I feel stupid because I kinda know that it was not original, but I still went ahead and bought it. Damn, buy 1 take 1 offers!lol Anyway, I’m a huge fan of Michelle Phan and I remember this video. I also followed her advice in cleaning my brushes. Although I don’t have brush guards yet. I have to invest in quality brushes first. Thank you for writing this post. I’ll definitely be getting one of those brush guards once I’ve collected decent brushes. :)
Hi Irene, yes, you can use Paypal :) If you’re looking for a good online makeup store, you can try TameraOnline.com :)
Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll surely check it out. :)
