A few months ago, we installed this nifty little thing called NESH Happyshowers in our shower.
When I heard that it filters out the chlorine, I knew I wanted one! Since I always sport colour-treated hair, showering with chlorine-treated water is a big no-no as chlorine makes hair colour fade faster.
(I live in a condo and our water is chlorine treated.)
We installed the Happyshower filter 4 months ago and this is how the filter looked like after 2 months of use…
I was pretty shocked with how much gunk the filter caught. While my primary reason for getting this product was for vanity purposes, I realise now that, health-wise, this is a very good product to own.
(I cringe thinking about the many times the shower water would go into my mouth while showering. OMG, what about the water from our faucet when I brush my teeth?!)
Of course, nobody really dies from this kind of thing anyway, but if you’re a germophobe, this is a really nice addition to your bathroom.
Oh, and did I mention that it makes the water ‘soft’ making the water gentler for the skin? :)
