Hello, hello, geeks!
Just sharing some of my daily essentials and a few products that I cannot simply live without!
Cetaphil Cleansing Cloths
As far as I could remember (sometime way, way, WAAAAY back in college), Cetaphil has already been a part of my daily essentials. I’ve been using their Gentle Bar Soap for bath time since forever. It’s the only bar soap doesn’t make my body itch after bath time.
So this goes without saying that I’m ecstatic to find that Cetaphil has come out with their own version of facial wipes. I’ve tried several different brands of facial wipes before but I find that most of them still irritates my face even when they’re supposedly “gentle” and “good for sensitive skin”.
What I love: It does not irritate my skin and has no sticky residue! I can literally clean my face with just this and head off to bed. I’d love the cloths to be more moist, though.
It Works! Turbo Balm
Another new addition to my daily essentials is the Turbo Balm from It Works!
What I love: Moisturizes without the greasy, oily after-feel. It works really well as a pseudo lip primer. Unlike most balms that make your lipstick slide off, I find that this balm makes my lippies stick more.
L’Oreal True Match Concealer
Another product that’s new in my makeup kit is the L’Oreal True Match Concealer. I’ve been looking for a good and affordable under-eye concealer and so far this has been my favourite from all the products I’ve tried.
What I love: Has my perfect shade, very light and super blendable, does not cake. And have I mentioned that it’s very affordable, too?
NARS Tinted Moisturizer
I’ve always wanted to try this product for the longest time but I could never get myself to fork over P2,450 for a tinted moisturizer. Recently though, I took the plunge and decided to purchase one from Rustan’s Alabang Town Center.
The only thing I have to say — Where have you been all my life?!
This hands-down is THE best product to buy if you want that natural and effortless “no makeup” look.
On my face: NARS Tinted Moisturizer in Alaska (Light 02), Etude Play 101 Pencil as eyeliner, and K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil in 02
What I love: Has SPF30, good oil control and dries to a lovely matte finish. It’s very light on the skin, so light that you can barely feel it at all. It also has a very slight, lemony scent. Light to medium coverage.
The price tag is a little shocking for a 50mL tube but just a little goes a long way, so it’s not so bad.
K-Palette Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil
This I CANNOT live without. Seriously. I always make sure that I have 2 extra, unopened packs in my kit. Just in case I run out.
What I love: I find that it’s much easier to use this than the liquid pen version, and my eyebrows look more natural.
What I don’t love, though, is how little product there is in each pen. I don’t even use this everyday and I’ve already gone through 2 pencils in a span of 4 months.
So if everything is consistent, I can assume that I can end up buying 6 of these in a year. That’s around P4,770 for eyebrow stuff for one year! The MUFE Aqua Brow can seem to be more expensive at first glance at the price of P1,350 but one small tube can last you a good 6 months, or even a year.
But for kilay, I will spend! Hahaha. That’s how much I love this eyebrow pencil from K-Palette!
Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint
One of the brands I’m fervently praying to come here to Manila is Tarte Cosmetics.
What I love: It’s made of organic ingredients, and the velvety, matte finish just feels amazing on your lips.
iPhone 6 from Smart
And lastly, a daily essential that I definitely cannot live without, is my iPhone 6 from Smart.
(It’s practically attached to my hands.)
It lets me live the #SmartLife where everything is in reach within my fingertips. Information, entertainment, convenience and the peace of mind. Any where, any time.
My current wallpaper on my #SmartiPhone6. Guess which anime this cutie is from? LOL <3
