Hey geeks, have you heard of SkinWhite’s #BetterMe campaign?
This campaign aims to give young Filipinas the tools they need to improve who they are — both inside and out.
It aims to inspire ladies to be the best version of themselves and to be confident in their own skin.
This campaign actually reminds of this particular quote:
“Speak only words of kindness”
For me, this is the line that speaks to me the most. In this day and age, I believe that the world we live in needs more kindness in it.
Don’t you agree?
Violence is everywhere. Cruelty is just around the corner.
If we can do one simple act of kindness everyday, (as simple as saying, “Thank you”, or avoiding cruel gossip) I believe that it will not only make you into a better person, but it’ll also make the world a better place.
How about you, dear geeky reader? Do you have any tips on how to becoming a better person? :)
#BetterMe With SkinWhite
In line with their #BetterMe campaign, I was given some SkinWhite products to test out and here are my first impressions.
SkinWhite PowerWhitening Lotion
But in a nutshell, what I really like about this lotion is the immediate brightening effect when you use it.
It’s also non-drying, so for people with dry skin — do not fear!
SkinWhite PowerWhitening Bar Soap
What I really like: Has a nice subtle smell and feels very creamy on your skin when it lathers!
SkinWhite Whitening Facial Cleanser
The SkinWhite Whitening Facial Cleanser is probably my favorite product among the bunch.
At first I thought it was a facial wash, like literally those foamy, soapy facial wash you use to cleanse your face. But with a closer look, this is more of a toner than a facial wash.
Do you use toners?
I’m a big believer of the “cleanse-tone-moisturize” beauty regimen and my face never feels completely clean if I don’t use a toner before applying moisturizer.
What I really like: I really love that this contains the ingredient witch hazel. Witch hazel is an organic ingredient that has a lot of benefits for the skin. It has astringent properties so it’s very good for acne-prone skin.
It has a bit of scent but it didn’t really bother me. While there’s no stingy feeling, it did make my eyes water a little so avoid the eye area when applying this. It leaves a cool after-feel because of the menthol ingredient, and my face felt very smooth and soft afterwards.
The SkinWhite Whitening Facial Cleanser is definitely a product worth taking a look at.
So, have you guys tried of any these products from SkinWhite? Let me know what you think about them!
