I’ve been thinking long and hard about buying PhotoComic for $1.99 (Yes, I’m a cheapskate). I wanted a simple and easy to use app that can add cartoon bubbles to my photos.

Luckily, the other day, it was the Main Feature Free App at FreeAppADay! So download I go and I got it for free, YAY. (FreeAppADay is a must-go-to site for iPhone App junkies like me.)

I recommend the app but the only thing I don’t like about the app though is it saves your photo in a low-res version (320 x 480 pixel, 72 resolution, as you can see from my PhotoComic samples). It’s easily solved though by taking a screenshot with your iPhone, instead of saving it via the app.

PhotoComic is a great app to pair with HalfTone and aniQuoma.
