Being the online shopping addict that I am, I’ve purchased a few items from group deal site likes Ensogo and Cash Cash Pinoy.
Normally, the items I buy are for delivery so the whole experience is hassle-free and I get my items straight on my door step, and I’m happy.
However, there’s this one item that I recently purchased that required to be picked up at the Ensogo Office.

Ensogo is at the 2/F of the W Office Building in Fort Bonifacio Global City. It’s the building where Skye Lounge is.
My sister was supposed to pick it up, but since I was in the area last Friday, I decided to pick it up myself to save my sister the trouble.
I thought all I had to do was get there before 5PM, present my voucher and go my merry way with my item in hand. Breeze in, breeze out. I should be done in 20 minutes, tops!
BOY, WAS I WRONG.
It was 4:45pm in the afternoon.
When I stepped off the elevator on the 2nd floor of the W Office Building, what greeted me was a LOOOOONG LINE of people along the corridor waiting for their number to be called so they can present their voucher and claim their item.
I was ready to turn back and just forget about it. But being the optimist that I am, I thought the line would move fast.
When I got to the main room (think storage room), it was FULL of people. There were around 30 seats and all were occupied. People were already standing and squeezed in corners. You could feel the body heat from everyone and the negative, impatient energy all around!
The Ensogo employees were grumpy, too!
In other words, STRESS! (I think I started getting an anxiety attack, haha.)
I didn’t give up hope, though, and decided to get a number. The number I got was 66. They were servicing number 19. /sweat
There were moments when the line was moving slow because even though there were 4 Ensogo people there, if a problem came up, ALL the Ensogo people would attend to the issue and the line would just stop for a good 15 minutes or so. But if everything was going smoothly, the line moved fast.
I wasn’t ready to give up just yet! Fortunately, I was able to find a seat and just decided to wait. While waiting, I learned a few things:
- Make sure that when you go there, you bring the VOUCHER and not the email notification from Ensogo. If you bring just the email, they won’t let you claim the item no matter how long you’ve been in line. The voucher can be found in your Ensogo account, in ‘My Vouchers’.
- If you can, go there first thing in the morning. The office opens at 10AM. If you can be there by 930AM and wait until they open their doors, do it! Why? Because there’s a big chance that they can run out of stock of the item you are claiming. If that happens, you have to come back the next day (or whenever the item is available). The couple beside me was waiting in line for a good 30 minutes or so when Ensogo announced they ran out of the item they were going to claim. You can imagine how grumpy and disgruntled they were.
- Bring a book and snacks. You might never know how long you’re going to wait.
In the end, I just gave up. It was already past 5PM and we wanted to be on the way home to Alabang before rush hour on a payday Friday. I ended up giving my number to the girl beside me. She had number 90 and by the time I left, they were servicing number 34. Well, 66 was better than 90!
So lesson learned – If you’re ordering something from Ensogo, make sure that you can have it delivered to your home. If the only option is For Pick Up, come prepared because it might be a LOOOOONG wait!
Ever had an Ensogo experience? How was it?
