So the other day, I received the most awesome gadget.

For those who don’t know what a Necomimi Cat Ear is…

Well, – sheepish smile-  it’s a toy, a very hi-tech pair of  cat ears that uses your brainwaves to make them move!

It’s made by Neurosky, a company that develops products that reacts to our brainwaves. (Check out them out! Some of their products are very intriguing!)

So, yep, the Necomimi is basically just a very expensive (and maybe useless) toy, haha.

But come on, how can you NOT want something like this? It’s sooooo cute!

Geek Girl Thoughts

• The Necomimi Cat Ears uses 4 AAA batteries and I have to say, it drains them pretty darn fast! So better buy yourself rechargeable batteries so you don’t have to keep buying.
• It takes a while to get used to working the Necomimi to the point that you might get frustrated and think that it’s not working at all. You have to make sure that the Brain Sensor Tip and the ear clip are touching your skin properly for the Necomimi to work.
• Every time the cat ears move, you can hear the electrical whirring sound which can get quite annoying. Eventually, you will be able to tune it out. though.
• Wearing Necomimi Cat Ears are a great way to perk up a very boring day, haha.
