I did a double take when I saw the price tag on these earphones.

A whooping P5,250 for a pair of earphones. WOW.

I find that price more acceptable on, let’s say, headphones, since they use up more materials. Like more leather and metal parts, more wires, etc.

But for a pair of earphones?! Wow. These must be good earphones. Fortunately, I was given the chance to try them out myself.

The husband freaked out when he saw it was a “monitor series”. Apparently, it’s a term that means it’s top of the line.

It’s out of the box!

I love that the box is so environment-friendly, just like the earphones which is made of wood.

Comes with an equally environment-friendly carrying pouch.

The usual suspects: extra ear tips with different sizes, a cord clip, and an ear hooks so you can use the earphones while jogging, or so.

♥ THE REVIEW ♥

My initial thoughts on these earphones is that there isn’t anything particularly special about it.

it’s very lightweight and sits comfortably inside your ear.

Granted, the sound quality is superb.

The overall sound is crisp and clean. It doesn’t crackle when the volume is way up (sorry, ears!). Wide range from mid to high. Clarity is amazing as vocals sound really clear.

The bass is enough for those who love house music.

But other than that, I’m not sure if the price tag is justifiable for my needs. I can say that for a much lesser price, I could probably find earphones that can deliver an almost same quality.

Now, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t buy this earphones. A hardcore audiophile will probably appreciate this ‘luxury’, and will love to receive this as a gift.

If budget is not a question, then by all means get this earphones as it delivers top-notch sounds.

But if you want to get a pair of earphones that’s more bang for your bucks, this is definitely NOT it.
