I love my sleep.
I really do.
I need my 6-8 hours of quality sleep so I can function normally. Otherwise, I’d be nauseous and dizzy the whole day, and since I’ll be feeling quite sickly, I’ll end up getting anxious whether there’s something seriously wrong with my body. Hello, panic attacks.
So yeah, I love my sleep.
I’ve also recently discovered how important it is to sleep during the proper times, meaning sleep at 10PM and wake up at 6AM.
My moods have been better ever since I’ve adjusted my sleeping hours from 4AM-12NN to the proper times.
To better improve my sleep, I also use this app called Sleep Cycle.

I’ve also realized that with sleep, it’s important for us to wake up properly.
Do you use an alarm clock? Isn’t it annoying when your alarm suddenly blares in the morning waking you up from deep sleep?
That’s the worst way to wake up! Your head feels heavy, you feel groggy and disoriented. Most likely, you’ll end up reaching for the snooze and just end up going back to bed.
Sleep Cycle App prevents that from happening as this app wakes you up during your lightest sleep state. Instead of suddenly pulling you out of deep sleep, it’ll wake you up gently therefore waking you up in a more rested and relaxed state.
So how does Sleep Cycle work?
Simply, Sleep Cycle detects your movements while sleeping using the iPhone’s accelerometer. If it senses you shifting in bed during the set waking up time, mostly like you’re in a light sleep state and that’s the only time it’ll alarm.


And in the morning when I wake up, I get to see this awesome analysis of my sleep! Totally geeky, huh?

As you can see, I’ve been using this app for a total of 288 nights already. Almost a year! This app is something I can’t live without as it really helps me wake up easier in the morning.
