A few weeks ago, Krispy Kreme sent a package to our home.

I was actually out when the delivery came but Artie was there to receive it. He called me up while I was out, asking if I was expecting anything from Krispy Kreme.

I said no, I wasn’t expecting any delivery that day. By the time I got off the phone though, I was very excited to go home and see what the package was!

If it was anything like the delicious Message Doughnuts they sent last month, I was going to be ecstatic!

I was also hoping that they sent over a box of their Baked Creations line.

They apparently had new flavours and the new additions looked and sounded lip-smackingly yummy!

Let’s check out the new flavours one by one!

I’m a big bread eater. I love my bread and I really love pastries! Pair them with coffee or tea and you’ll have a happy little nom nom-ing geek right there.

I’ve been craving for Krispy Kreme’s Baked Creation a few weeks now ever since I was invited to their Baked Creations Launch at Alabang Town Center last June 28.

Unfortunately, I was down with the flu then and wasn’t able to go.

Since then, I’ve been wanting to drop by Krispy Kreme just to get a taste. I’ve been failing miserably, though, as every time I get to the mall, it’s past 2PM and the Baked Creations items aren’t available anymore.

Just so you know, these scrumptious edibles are only available from store opening until 2PM. If you plan to grab them, make sure to get to your favourite Krispy Kreme branch before 2PM 🙂

And while you’re there, you can also avail of their Brunchies Special.

With the Brunchies Special, you can enjoy a Baked Creations and coffee combo at a discounted price!

So with thoughts of light, fluffy and sweet pastries in my mind, I raced home, anticipating the taste of Krispy Kreme goodness on my tongue.

I got home, opened the package and this is what was inside.

See that little bunny over there? That was me when I realized that the packaged contained a ceramic coffee mug and a really nice denim apron.

No Baked Creations. No soft, sweet pastries.

I was totally crestfallen! 😦

And that, dear geeks, is why until now, I’m still totally craving for Krispy Kreme’s Baked Creation!

I MUST TASTE THEM!

One day… one day! I’ll get to the mall before 2PM just so I can eat the Krispy Kreme Cube Bread.

Or maybe the Custard Kreme. Or Heart Danish. Oh, gosh, I can’t decide! I want to eat all of them!

Sigh. Ah, well.
