If you’ve been itching to upgrade your phone without breaking the bank (or you’re just in the mood for some seriously good audio) HUAWEI’s latest drop might just hit the sweet spot.
Launching this June, the new HUAWEI nova Y73 and HUAWEI FreeBuds 6 bring together powerful features, polished looks, and that very welcome mid-range price tag. I got a peek at both devices and, okay, color me intrigued.
The nova Y73: Built tough, stays charged
You know how most budget phones force you to choose between battery life, looks, or durability? The nova Y73 is kind of like, “Why not all three?”
With a massive 6620mAh battery (that’s big, even by today’s standards), the nova Y73 promises up to 2.6 days of music or 1.4 days of video on a single charge. Shortcut junkies, rejoice
One thing that stood out to me? The HUAWEI X-Button. I live for shortcuts and quick-launch anything, so the idea of a customizable hardware button that can bring up my favorite apps or even make a call with one press? Big yes.
Also cool: the infrared remote control feature, which lets you use your phone to control your appliances. Yes, that includes the aircon.
HUAWEI FreeBuds 6: Open-fit, no compromises
Meanwhile, the HUAWEI FreeBuds 6 is out here proving that open-fit earbuds can still bring the bass. With dual-driver tech and lossless transmission up to 2.3Mbps, these are not your basic earbuds. The sound is rich, the calls are clearer (thanks to AI noise cancellation), and the new droplet design? Super comfy, super cute.
I’m also into how they look. Sleek, minimal, and definitely something I wouldn’t mind being seen in.
