What do you get when you mix simulation chaos with a predator that has 300 teeth? Apparently, Shark Dentist, a horror roguelike that lets you perform dental surgery on an angry, possibly conscious shark.
It’s bizarre, stressful, and kinda perfect for streaming.
What is Shark Dentist?
Think Operation meets Jaws. Shark Dentist is a chaotic horror game where one wrong click could mean losing more than just the round.
Developed by Alice Games, Shark Dentist is an upcoming horror roguelike where you play as a lone dentist treating injured sharks in a grimy underground clinic.
The Gameplay: Stress and sharks
Each round puts you face-to-face with a terrifyingly detailed shark strapped to a table. Your job? Drill, extract, and anesthetize… while keeping an eye on their oxygen, vitals, and pain levels. It’s a multitasking nightmare that feels part surgeon sim, part escape room, and all kinds of unhinged.
According to its Steam page, the game promises “ultra-tactile stress and consequences,” with randomized shark conditions, eerie ambience, and a full toolbox of dangerously sharp instruments. Think Buckshot Roulette meets Two Point Hospital but if the patients could eat you alive.
Why I’m into it: Chaotic simulation games are my jam
I love this kind of chaos.
One of my favorite types of games to stream are simulation games where you sort of pretend to be whatever/roleplay it is you’re simulating. They’re fun to stream and usually spiral into scuffed comedy gold.
I once pretended to be a mechanic.
Then an electrician…
A mortuary assistant…
And even Bread.
Yes. Bread.
So you can bet Shark Dentist is going on my radar.
When can you play it?
There’s no confirmed release date yet, but it’s already up for wishlisting on Steam. If you’re into horror games with a twist (and a bite) this might be your next chaotic stream pick.
